J. Linderman. TENTATIVE BUDGET FOR_1944iit Was reviewed $205.00 set up under general government for the purchase -of land adjacent cemetery, motion made by Booth to adopt the tenztA-tive budget as presented motion died for the want of a second. RESOLUTION NO. 209;;was read authorizing a notice to be publishedofof the public hearing on the tentative budget for 1944 motion made by Marshall sec- onded by Booth that the Resolution No. 209, be accepted motion carried so ordered LT. Luke of the Naval Air Base spore to the council regarding the openin of an Officers Club within the city limits of Pasco, to be operated by the Office they desire to purchase a license to cover the sale of soft drinks and tobacco, the council unanimously favored granting permission for this operation encluding also the granting of the business license. REVATIPING CITY HALL _HEATING _SY_ST_E_TJ; : A letter~ was read from The Hughes & Company, Spokane to the Pasco Pyultbzg ing and Heating Co., requesting that an extension of time be asked for from the O.P.A. Office in connection with securing pipe and material for revamping the City Hall Heating system. Motioh made by Drennan seconded by Die -Mond that this letter be turned to the City Attorney motion carried so ordered.
