CALL TO ORDER: Tvleeting called to order at seven -fifteen oclock by Honorable T:Tayor
Frotem D. F. Rodkey.
ROLL CALL: By Clerk councilmen present were D. Byron Baker, W. E. Drennan, V. F.
Marshall, and D. F. Rod]Xey; Councilmen absent were C. L. Booth. Chas Biemond an(
;11. J. Linderman. Mayor E. S. Johnston arrived late butridid not take over the
meeting.
RESOLUTION N_UT11B_ER 195 was read pretaining to the closing of any public streets,
roads9 plated or dedicated erea, within the boundaries of the Pasco Holding and
Reconsignment Point lying and being east of the east line of Gray Street, motion
made by 14arshall seconded by Eakerthat Resolution No. 195 be adopted motion
carried by a roll call vote of four. In this same connection a Consent to
WaiverNo. 67 was read and accepted.without dissent.
U.S.O. BUILDING SITE was discussed the Government will not accept a lease contai
;ing a clause whereby property was to revert to the city six months after the
;duration which was the understanding; Motion made by Marshall seconded by Baker
that this be tables until lease situation has been cleared up with the Northern
Pacific Railway Company motion carried so ordered.

Motion made by Marshall seconded by Drennan and carried that Ordinance No 512 ha!
been biven the first reading; 11otion made by TTarshall seconded by Drennan and
carried that Ordinance No. 512 be given the second reading by title only, motion
made by Yarshall seconded by Drennan that Ordinance No. 512 has been given the
second reading motion carried so ordered. T:Zotion made by Baker seconded by Marshz
that Ordinance No. 51? be given the third reading, by unanimous consent motion

MAYORS EXPENSE:: The Mayor spoke to the council regarding a nominal allow-
ance of five cents per mile on trips to transact city business, motion made by
Marshall seconded by Drennan that such expenses be paid from funds budgeted for
purpose of trip motion carried so ordered.
GEAVEL PIT SITUATION:: I'Ir. Blanton was present and the conditions at the pit
were discussed no information was obtained as to how or when the correction at
the pit would be made in conclusion a motion was made by Tlarshall seconded by D:
that the council meet at nine oclock A. Irl. Sunday mroning with the Mayor, Water
Manager and City Attorney to make a personal survey of the situation and come
to some conclusion motion catried so orderddd. City Clerk to call members.
