made by Booth seconded by Diemond and carried that the letter be filed.
REPORTS FROi_I CO1i11ITTEES:: Water Committee met with the Water Department Manager made an
inspection of the Pump house and pumps, and recommend that the flow meter be sent
into Seattle for repairs, and the purchase of a new pump; The City Attorney sug-
gests that the Water lIIanager call for bids, Mr Rodkey advises a Ce Lavel pump is
available for $450.00 following a short discussion motion was made by Diemond seconded
Booth that McGhee be authorized to purchase a De Lavel pump price not to exceed $500.00
motion carried by a roll call vote of five.
Ivlention was made of verious lengths and sized now in the river near the pump house
these are to be dragged from the river to the City Yards.
BUILDING COM. Reports that the building in Sylvester Park will be moved to the
City Yard.
THE BELL TOWER was inspected committee recommend that it be removed motion mads by
Diemond seconded by Booth to accept the recommendation motion carried so ordered.
THE FURNACE A_T_THE _CITY _HALL is not heating correctly oil flow does not seem to be
adequate, it wasagreedthat Fred Scott be called to adjust the burner and furnish
a book of instructions. Motion made by hlarshall seconded by Booth that a switch b
