CALL TO ORDER: Meeting called to order at eight -ten P. M. Honorable Mayor E. S. Johnston

ROLL CARR: B� Clerk councilmen present were C. H. Brewer, W. R. Cox, R. 0. Hall and
M. J. Linderman; Councilmen absent were D. Byron Baker, M. J. McDonnell and A. M.
Westby.
BILLS AND COMMUNICATIONS:
Current bills against the city were read as follows, motion made by' Linderman
seconded by Cox that all bills signed by the Committee be paid motion carried by
a roll call vote of four.

Several loin places in the streets causing water holes have been reported, Brickey to
fill and grade.
PUBLIC BUILDINGS: The water in the city hall building still gets to hot, coils shoulc
be removed from furnace, and water controlled by electric thermostato
PARKS AND CE'_HETER_Y:: tennis netsat Sylvester park have been taken up. An effort will
be made to locate dames purchased by the city.
WOOD 'hauled to The WineC ty Lumber Yards has been sold and the city has a credit of
T,7.00, motion made by Brewer seconded by Hall that this amount be collected.

Fire Chief James Knowlton's November report was read.
Police judge Gran. Stringham's November report was read showing $28?.75 collectE
in fines.
Acting ChaLf of Police lilerlin Cooney's November report was read.
READING OF ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS::
ORDINANCE N0. 00•; Known as the Gravel Bit Ordinance;; was discussed, City
Attmrhey has received no work from contractors, but asvises that Harold Blantc
expects to be able to remedy conditions at the pit on Ainsworth Ave. Motion

Ordinance No. 505 be given the first reading; Motion made by Linderman seconded
by Brewer that Ordinance No. 505 has been given the first reading motion carries

given the second reading by title only motion carried so ordered, motion made by
Hall seconded by Cox that Ordinance No. 505 has been given the second reading

UNFINISHED BUSINESS::
TRAILER CAMP LICENSES TO BE COLLECTED: Board.of Investigators to present licen.
applications to trailer camp operators, for collections.
LEGION HALL LICENSE TO BE COLLECTED: Motion made by Brewer seconded by Hall
that the $25.00 license, decided upon by the Council, be collected from the
American Legion motion carried so ordered.
BELL TOWER:: The bell tower adjacent city hall was discussed, it has been re-
ported unsafe by the Fire Chief, council favor dismantiling.
DR. W. R. RIPLEY APPOINTED:
Honorable Mayor E. S. Jolnston appointed Dr. W. R. Ripley, City Health Officer,
effective date retroactive as of July 14, 1942, appointment accepted without
dissent.
ADJOURNMENT:
Motion made by Linderman seconded by Hall that the meeting adjourn to next reg-
ular meeting night December 15th, Tuesday eight oclock P. IA. motion carried so
ordered.
