STREETS AND -ALLEYS:: Yellow buttons need palint in "NO parking erea". Haysted has re- paired sidewalk adjacent boy Collins residencd, but not at the new Safe Way store.-A- A tore.�A curb indication for the north side of Safe Way Store on Fourth and Clark was suggest(d for parallel parking. Austin Co.'to resurface Francis Street from the alley between Margaret and Henry north to Henry. WATER DPET. One new pump has been installed and the second one received. Meter serving the Xavy'Air Training Base should be located at the City Limits City Attorney to so request; also draw up contract adopting a water schedule. REPORT FROM OFFICERS:: Police report fon June 1942 was read. UNFINISHED BUSINESS:: Lamp contract, more time given. RESOLUTIONS AND ORDINANCES. RESOLUTION NO, 187 Resolving to purchase necessary signs to be installed by the Stgte Highway Department and authorizing the deduction of cost and labor from gas tax monies motion made by'Cox seconded by Downey to adopt the resolution motion carried by roll call vote of.4. RESOLUTION NO. 188 STATES ESTIMATE OF GAS TAY MONEY set up for expenditure Motion mad by McDonnell seconded byJames that resolution No. 188 be adopted motion carried so orde ed. ORDINANCE N0. 496. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 424, RELATING TO LICENSES, BY ADDING A NEW SECTION THERETO PROVIDING FOR BUS LINES.
