so ordered.

Mr. C. E. Keifer of the Pacific Telephone &•Telegraph Compan;T spoke relative to
amending Ordinance Tito, 486. The Committee and Mr. Keifer had not been able to get
together, whereby the committee requested more time, which was,granted. And at thi
this time itwas agreed by Mr. Keifer and the Finance Committee to meet at eight o'(lock
P. L.T. Friday May 22, 1942, in the Committee,Room at the City Hall, City Clerk to
so notify the Committee.members.

Mr. J. L. Grahek, district manager was present and spoke in .behalf of the Wallace
& Tiernan chlorinator, then retired from the Committee Room. All bids were consi.de ed
in .conclusion a motion was made by Mall seconded by Cox that the Wallace & Tiernan
chlorinator was considered the best bid and that Wallace&Tiernan Salps Corporation
be awarded the bid motion carried by a roll call vote of four.
Delivery can be made on An!A=-10A prior1ty 11r. Grahek advises, but thought a Bette
rating might be awarded this location; when received this certificate is to be for
warded to the Seattle office who will in turn subluit it to their factory.

Fairbanks, Ilorse & Company make inquiry by letter if it would be possible to�re-
turn two certified check one in the amount of $5.00 covering specification for
pumps and $160.00 accompaning their bid. City Clerk to inform the 'credit manager
that the checks will be returned when the pumps are installed.
REPORTS FROIaI OFFICERS:*
The City Treasurer's monthly report was read.
The Water I,Zanager's monthly report was read.
The City Clerk furnished each menber with a budget report of all departments.
City Building Inspector's report was read showing the valuation of permits issu
for the month of April 1942 in the amount of $22,3J0.00.
'_'.I SCELLANEOUS :
The Washington Surveying and Rating Bureau have furnished the City Clerk with a
small water works map of the City of Pasco as of 1936.
ADJOURNITENT :
Motion made by HaIll seconded by James that the meeting adjourn to next regular
meeting night June 2, 19421 eight o'clock P. M. motion carried so ordered.
