Johnston. .�.L In absence of the City Clerk, Karl J. Grimm was appointed by the Maypg to serve ab,JCity Clerk for this meeting. ROLL CALL: By Clerk Pro Tem Councilmen present were D. Byron Baker, C. V. Downey, R.O, Hall, Robert Jaynes and M. J. Linderman. Council Absent were Harry Chenoweth and IST. J. McDonnell. REGULAR ORDER OF BUSINESS SET ASIDE: Through a motion made by Hall seconded by James carried unanimously, to hear from Clarence L�idwigs as to the modification of Fire Zoning Ordinance, Building Inspector ex -officio, City Attorney ex -officio, Hall, Ba ker and Linderman to to Council. REGULAR ORDER OF BUSINESS RESUI —1D by unanimous consent of the .Council. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: PORT_ DEED A resolution was read to accept the deed for Block 41 Riverside Addition to the City of Pasco, from the Port of Pasco; Motion made by Downey seconded by Linderme to adopt the resolution motion carried so ordered. COITVEYA14CE OF PROPERTY VACATED BY ORDINANCE NO.481. A resolution was read authorizing the conveyance by deed, to the Pacific Power & Light Co. property vacated by Ordinance No. 481, to be made by Mayor E. S. Johnston and City Clerk Adah Perry, in executing on behalf of the City of Pasco IVlotion made by James seconded by Linderman to adopt the resolution motion carried without dissent on roll call. SMER EXTENSION ON SOUTH FIFTH. City Clerk to contact W. P. A. regarding Sewer extension in Gantenbeins Addition to Pasco. h1ISCELLANEOUS: DEFECTIVE SIDEMALDS. A, discussion relative to defective sidewalks was had I,IcDonnell, Linderman and City Attorney Karl J. Grirua agreeded to make a,survey and report. SALE OF OLD PUMP: The matter of selling the old pump at the Pumping Plant was brought up by Downe, and referred to the Water Committee with power to act. NEW GRADER: A discussion was '_veld as to the purchase of a new grader, this was referred to the Street Committee to report at next meeting. AD JOURNI.M, NT : Motion made by Linderman seconded by James that the meeting adjourn until next Regular meeting night Tuesday November 4th 1941, eight oclock P. M. Idotion carried unanimously.
