COIJItJIii ICATIONS: A letter was read from E. -G. Kerfoot requesting the installation of a dra age basin at 6th & Lewis. REPORTS FROM OFFICERS: A monthly budget report of all departments was �urnished'each membe -of the U:ouncil body, by the City Clerk. The City Treasurers monthly report was read for June and July 1941. The Building Inspectors Reportsfor June and July wererredd. A peport from the Department of Highways showing the City's gas tax allotment for April, May and June amounted to $22,298.29. Water Manager D. W. McGhee's reports for Julio and julyst were read. MISCELLANEOUS: CEMETERY CONTRACTS:: A short discussion relative to purchase contracts for the Cemetery department; Mr. Sample suggested that a portion of the Cemetery Ordinance be printed on the back of each contract. Motion made by Chenoweth seconded by Hall that the City Attorney draw up new Cemetery Contracts of Purchase; Motion carried so ordered. Through a request by Lee Perry Company, The Council was asked about setting aside part of the Cemetery for low priced graves, to accomodate Old Age Pensior City Clerk to write to the Asmciation of Washington Cities for information as to how others Cities handle this situation, Cemetery Committee to confer with IIr. Sample fur- ther on this question. RESOLUTIONS A Resolution requesting the City Treasurer to transfer $50.00 from Labor Fund of Sylve-ster Park to Labor Fund of Volunteer Park was read and accepted Motion made by James seconded by Hall carried so ordered. ADJOURNMENT: Motion made by Chenoweth seconded by James that the meeting adjout to next regular meeting night Thursday August 21, 1941 eight o'clock P.M. Motion carri so ordered.
