CALL TO ORDER: Meeting called to order at eight twenty-five P. M. Honorable Llayor-Pro Te
Linderman presiding.'
OLL CALL By City Clerk, recording all members of the Council present, 'Special meet
notices signed by the Mayor E. S'. zohnston were properly served on each member of t
Council. The Occasion being tpsdiscuas, certain property exchanges and sites desire
by prospective corporations/((R's explained by the City Attorney where by lots in Blo
40 would be exchanged for all of block 41 now owned by Wardeftti ann, Block 41 to be
reserved ffor sewer disposal plant and lots 4rto•9t of part of block 40 exchanged

Conclusion Motion was made by Downey that the present groupe ire favorable to the
propos ition as presented to theCouncil by the City Attorney in regard to making
necessary property change to meet with the situation as it presents its self? City

The petition was handed to the Clerk by Mr. J. Jacobs, petition was then read, this
petition would prohibit all port activities west of the Northern Pacific Railroad
Bridge over the Columbia River, and suggested the Snake River as a much more advan-
tagous site; Mr. Goodell, J. Jacobs and Linderman expressed themselves as desiring
the removal of Warden Fann from his position with the Port District as they feel
he has a selfish motive.
Motion was 4gain made by Downey that the present groupe are favorable
to the proposition as presented to the Council in regard to making necessary pra-
perty changes tp meet with the situation as it presents itself, City Attorney
to notify the Port Commission to the effect that lots four to nine in block forty
be exchanged for all of block forty-one, motion seconded by Hall, carried so ordere
McDonnell and Linderman voted no, Chenoweth did not vote.
READING OF ORDINANCE::

STRUCTURES. was giiaen its first reading Motion made by Baker seconded by Downey
carried so ordered Linderman and McDonnell votinf no; Linderman suggested that
River Atenue, in Section One be stricken from the ordinance.

carried so ordered.
