Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read.
REGULAR ORDER OF BUSINESS SET ASIDE::
Motion made by Downey seconded by Linderman that the regular order of bus-
iness be set aside to hear from a groupe presenting a petition, motion carried so o derdd.
A petition bearing forty-eight personal signatures was read whereby citizens of Pasco
protest against speeding on South Tenth Street approaching the Columbia River Bridg .
following a short discussion this Matter was turned to the Police Committee.

COMMUNICATIONS::
A letter from the Washington Surveying and Rating Bureau, was read, stating that th
'City Fire Insurance•Rating recognkzes the; -pumping and storage facilities maintained
by the Northern Pacific Railway Co. as an emergency and auxiliary supply system, th
has also been an instrumental factor -in theoestkblishment of the existing fire insu
ance classification of Pasco. A copy of this letter was furnished the Committee and
their investigation continues.

FOUR LOTS.IN RIVER BLOCK:
The Committee on Public Buildings, Property and Docks, Recommend the sale of lots
30,31,32, and 33 to -The Port Commission, these lots are'each fifty feet in width;
The price or value to be set or arrived at by the Finance Committee they suggest
holding block forty until such a time that it can be surveyed byya 6ity or consult nt
Engineer, to ascertain its value to the City as a likely location for a:%iCity Sewer
disposal plant. Motion made by Downey seconded by Baker to accept -the committees r -
port motion carried so ordered, McDonnell voting "no". During the general discuss on
it was suggested that the above mentioned lots be.leased to the. Port. Districts how ver
the Port District are not allowed to improve property other than their own. -Motion
made by Chenoweth seconded by McDonnell that a public hearing be within thirty
days motion carried so ordered. °
CLEANING PROPERTY NEAR N.P.DEPOT: and vicinity has made no progress.
ORNAMENTAL LIGHTS;: The Light Committee reports the progress of installing the -or-
namental light is being held up for material.
The Police Committee met with deliverymen in regard to using back enterances for
loading and. unloading.
The Park Committee reports the pipe replacement is under way in Volunteer -prk.

AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE ERECTION, COIJSTRUCTION, ENLARGEMENT, REPAIR, MOVING.'-
REMOVAL,
OVING:REMOVAL, DEMOLITION, CONVERSION, ALTERATIONI OCCUPANCY, EQUIPMENT, USE,HEIGHT,
AREA, AND MAINTENANCE OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES IN THE CITY OF PASCO, ADOPTING
THE UNIFORM BUILDING CODE OF THE PACIFIC COAST BUILDING OFFICIALS CONFERENCE,
SETTING UP FIRE ZONES, PROVIDING FOR THE FANNER OF SELECTION OF THE•BUILDING IN&
SPECTOR, FIXING HIS COMEENSL2,10N, AND REPEALING CERTAIN ORDINANCES.
Lotion Made by Linderman seconded by Chenoweth that SECTION TWO line three be
changed from "at his pleasure" to "at the pleasure of the City Council" motion
carried so ordered.
Motion Made by Linderman seconded by Hall that SECTION THREE paragraph one be
amended by inserting "other than one and two fanny dwellings" in line four afte
the word "code" motion carried so ordered.
Motion made„ by Hall seconded by Chenoweth that SECTION THREE PAGE TWO LINE TWO
be changed to "thence Notth along the centerline of North Sixth Street to the
center of the intersection of North Sixtii and Bonneville Street. Thence easterly
along the center line of Bonneville Street to the place of beginning."Motion
carried so ordered.
Motion made by Hall seconded by Linderman that SECTION FOUR PARAGRAPH TWO be
changed to read "'Beginning at the center of the entersection of West Bonneville i;tre-;t
Street and North Fifth Avenue, thence north along North Fifth Avenue to the in-
tersection of Arthur Street to the City limits. Thence easterly along the nortne n
boundry of the City limits to a point 150 Beet easterly of North Fourth Street.
Thence southerly parallel to the easterly line of North Fourth Street and parall 1
with the easterly line of North Third Street to the center line of West Bonnevil e
Street. Thence west along the center line of West Bonneville Street to the place
of beginning" motion carried so ordered
Motion made by Hall seconded by Chenoweth that SECTION FOUR be changed to "DELET'"
