The cost charges of printing and publishing, by the Pasco Herald was discusse the City Clerk to obtain from Lir. Williams his prices by the inch, line, page etc of contract and legal printing. REPORTS FROM COIMTTEES: THE PASCO GROWERS CLAIM AGAINST THE CITY Arrangements had been made by the Claims Committee, for Byron Baker,Manager of the Growers Association, to be present at this meeting, to discuss the actual hapenings that brought about this claim; But owing to the extra work brought on b the harvesting of the lettice crop, Mr Baker was unable to attend, Therefor the Committee ask for more time, same being granted. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: The Bill of $35.00 0, -.ed the City by Roy Skill. was again reviewed, and turns over the claims committee. Mr. Westby to personally contact Mr Skill to ascertain why th above bill was being held up. 3'ODEL BAKERY LICENSE: City license for the Model Bakery was again discusse Mr. Karl Erickson claims he still owns an interest in the Bakery and another lice requested from Mr. Thomas is unjust. This was referred to the City Attorney. McDonnell, Art Partch and A.II.Westby. Councilman absent was Rex Phillips. BY UNANIMOUS CONSENT THE REGULA ORDER OF BUSI14ESS WAS SET ASIDE TO HEAR from propertykk��olders, relative to amendments ito.ordinance number 435 by propose amendemrts #45V and #45$(- Drdi,nande0iiinber 44'covers property in Riverside Addition and part of River Block, to Pasco which is at the present time in Residential District R_2 the reco mended amendment is for the purpose of transfering property lying south of Ainswo Avenue to the shore line and from Eleventh Street to the Northern Pacific Tracks main line, from Residential Destrict R_2 to Manufacturing District M_1 A petition signed by twenty-four property holders was read, they prefer keep 6,11 this: said property in Residential Destrict R_2; But would consider the trans of that portion South oPAinswbrtbo�, Street and East of Fine Street; Mr. warden Fann )being interested in this Amendment expressed the desire to meet with the property holders and fix a boundry for the Manufacturing District ILI that would be agreeable with all concerned, then rewrite the amending Ordinance Number 454. RESOLUTION FOR CAEVASS OF VOTES OF PRIMARY ELECTION The City Couhcil of the City of Pasoo having met to canvass the vote. cast at the City Primary Election held on November 5th, 1940, for the various city of fives to be voted upon at the regular City Election on December 5, 1940; and the said City Council as said canvassing Board having received the Election returns, well. as the :.bsentee votes, from the City Clerk, rnd having counted said absentee votes and duly canvass the said elevtion returns, finds; That there were cast at said City Primary 1890 votes in total; that the candidates on the Independent Citizens Ticket for the various offices received the following number of Votes: FOR MAY OR: E.
