Three companyls had personal Representation, and were given an opportunity to speak individually
to the Council. After due consideration, motion made by Linderman that the Hugh G. Purcell Co.,
Seattle, Washin;ton, be awarded the bid which was x4,496.10. Mot'_cn seconded by Partch, carried
by Roll Call Vote of 6.
BILLS & COM14UNICATIONS:
A voucher presented by the Pasco Electric Shop in the amount of w7C,18 was with held. Doeney
recommends a report of work & service be furnished. A voucher presented by the Western Golf Course
Supply Co „ Portland Oregon covering a second hand Po,^er Lawn Plower and spiker in the amount of •.129 .00
was discussed, a letter attached s%tates a 3% discount will be allowed if paid at this time, pay-
ment due in March by agreement. Mot -i -n made by Partch to issue warrant and accept 3% discount, and
forward same, when quarentee°0mower and spiker ha V been approved by chairman of Park Board and
Finance Committee, seconded by Linderman.
A voucher presented by the Pasco Water Department in the amount of 6414.27 covering a Loan to
the River View Park in 1939 for pipe labor, and hauling. After a si:ort discussion it was unaminous y
agreed to pay$214.27 at ti;is time which is in the Budget for that purnose,and Budget for the Balanc
or 4200.00 in the 1941 Budget.
Bills against the var_ous departments of the City were read and ordered paid as follows,
motion made by Linderman that all Bills O.K.'d by Committee be paid, seconded by WcDonnell, Cartied
by Roll Call Vote of 6.

The Fleet Insurance was again discussed. Mr. Westby read a letter to Mr. O'Herin
from tl,e Home Insurance Co, stating that the fleet of trucks may be rzitten under more than one
policy (throu-h more than one agent) but it willbe necessary to suLmit the entire fleet list to
the Examiner's Office for rating and establishment of the minemum premium. Clerk to furnish
ti_is information and so advise Agencies writing these policies.
REPORTS FROM A short discussion followed the Finance Committees' Report in regard to a Type Writer for
COi.1iITTFF.bthe Police Office and an adding Machine for the Clerk's Office. No Action Ta -en.
Committee Wor:-ring on New Si --ht for the City Dump report the Irrigation District will
present a voucher covering the purchase in the course of a few days

in lining trees n both streets, The Mayor to talk to Lir. Ingham relative to the sycamore and
walnut tree which she desires to plant. She was advised that it would be permissable to build a du-
plex dwelling in that loca tion.
A letter from the Association of 'Washington Cities relative to paying the 1940 membersiip fees
of N100.00. Motion made by Pangle that $100.00 be allowed. Seconded by Linderman carried by Roll
Call Vote of Six.
