REMODELING STANDARD OIL SERVICE STATIOy; Building Inspector A. Haylett appeared before the City Council for their re- commendations relative to the moving of the present Standard Oil"Economy " Service Station building at Fourth and Lewis to a different location on the same lot, after lengthily discussion of the Council it was decided that the Standard Oil Company coulc move the building providing they complied with the Uniform Building Code, by building fire proof walls at each end, no open space be left between the Pasco Clothing Buildii and Service Station building; also the t all wiring be placed in condute and rock le used for interior finish. INSTRUCTION AND READING OF ORDINANCES & RESOLUTIONS. ORDINANCE 1 442 QRDINANftE REGULATION THE TRA14SPORTING AND DISPENSING PETROLEUM AND PETROLEUM PRODUCTS. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO ARDAIN AS FOLLO'NS: SECTION ONE: It shall be unlawfull for any person to transport in any motor vehicle on any of the streets of Pasco, for the purpose of selling or dispensing the same, in quantities greater than one gallon, any gasoline, kerosene, petroleum, or any product thereof, unless on the said motor vehicle there shall be carried a fire extinguisher, which said extinguisher shall be of the type known as a C.0.2 of not les than fifteen pounds capacity. SECTION TWO: No truck or motor vehicle engaged in the transporting or sellir or didpensing any of the products named in Section One hereof shall at any time double park on any of the streets of Pasco, nor shall any such truck or motor vehicle, while transporting any such products be driven on any of the streets at a greater rate mf'�, speed than fifteen miles per hour. When any such motor vehicle or truck shall be parka on any of the streets of Pasco between the hours of sundown and sunup, all marke3i and parking lights must be kept lighted. It shall further be unlawful to park or stop any such trucks or motor vehicles, while loaded with any such products, over or across any sidewalk in said city. SECTION THREE: Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinanc shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction there of may be fined in any sum not greater than $300.00 Three Hundred dollars, or may be imprisoned for any period not greater than nineth(90) days. SECTION FOUR: This ordinance shall take effect five(%) days after its pas, sage and publication. NISHED BUSINESS: WATER TANK STRUCTURE BEING BLUMB Steels Construction,, Company's bill for $8,136.51 for raising 2001000 gallon water tank to a height of 35' 4" was read and discussed, figures obtained from County Engineer Harold Blanton by McDonnell would show fractional differentials in plumb measurements of steel structure. Motion made by Downey that Bill be with held and Barr and Cunningham be notified through City Attorney C. M. O'Brien. Also that WALter Manager McGhee and Water Committee get together and inspect this structure again. motion seconded by Pangle. Carried.
