CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS
ADJOLJR14ED SESSION APRIL, 25, 1936.
ROLL CALL: Council met in adjourned session with Mayor McGee presiding, and
Councilmen Haylett, O'Herin, Partch, Shaffer, and girth present.
THE FOLLO',WING CALL FOR BIDS, as advertised was read;

Pasco will receive sealed bids until 9:00 o9clock P.M., April 25, 19,:6, for a 1936
Model Pick-up Truck, with 5 6 -ply heavy duty tires of some standard make. Bids to
cover trade-in of 1931 Model Chevrolet Pick-up truck as part payment.

After discussion of the various bids, a motion made by O'Herin
to accept the bid of the 'Williams Motmr Company was seconded by Partch. Motion Carrie
on roll call, with O'Herin, Partch, and girth voting yes, and Haylett and Shaffer, No.
LICENSE: An application from George Goodman for operating a card room
was read. Motion made by O'Herin, and seconded by Partch that the license be granted
Motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT: A motion made by girth that the meeting be adjourned, was se_
i conded by O'Herin. Motion carried.

6 HOURS TIML A bill for 6 hours time from Street Superintendent Brickey's time
TO KiICKEY: was presented to the Council to decide Nhether the time should be
taken from the Street Department or the 7iater Department. Notion made by Burns
and seconded by Haylett that the time be charged to the Street Department. Motio
carried
PIPE TO BE PURCHASED FOR THE CEMETERY: Council having been advised that the pipe for us
in the demetery could be purchased from the Pasco Iiachine Co. for 29V per foot,
Shaffer moved that the Cemetery Committee be privilibaedl to authorize the purehas
ing spent to purchase the necessary amount of pipe for use in the Cemetery.

REPORTS: The report of the Police Judge, showing fines to the amount of
`30.00 being_ collected during the month of April was read.
Svrner's report of the Street graveling project was read, also a
bill from Conlon's Auto and Implement Co. for $232.19 for repairs to the tractor.
Motion made by Shaffer and seconded by Partch that the voucher and report be
placed on file. ','lotion carried.
The renort of the Water Dept. svgs read and motion made by Haylett
and seconled by Shaffer that the report be accepted and placed on file. Motion
carried.
A.ei.�V.A. A communication giving the dates for the American hater Works Asso
ciation at Aberdeen on May 14, 15 and 16 was read. !,lotion made by Vlirth and eeco
_ed by Burns that the dater Manaaer be sent to the Convention with expanses paid.
Motion carried.
M.P.A. PAINTING PROJECT: The matter of accentinp a M.P.A. supplementary project for the
painting of the outside of the City Hall was referred to the juildinp Committee.
ADJOURIVMENT: A motion to adjourn was made by Haylett and seconded by Shaffer.

OLL CALL: Council met in regular session with Llayor McGee presiding and Councilmen
Burns, Haylett, O'Horin, Partch, Shaffer and girth present.
INUTES: The minutes of the regular session of Ilay 7, 1936 were read and apnroved.
0l&-UIVICATIONS: A communication from the Pacific Coast Association of Fire Chiefs was read
asking the City to send our Fire Chief to the conference at Seattle on
July 20th to 23rd., inclusive.
A summary of the business sessions of the state-wide convention of
Washington Cities on Llay 6th., 7th., & 9th., was read.
STITIONS: A petition for a fire hydrant to be placed in the vicinity of "B" and
Fifth Streets was read and held over to the next meeting.
SPORTS: The report of the W -ter Department was read and ordered filed.
.P.& L. Co.: A letter from the Pacific Power & Light Company proposing the passage of
an ordinance embodying a form of contract for supplying, electric energy
for the operation of a company-owned overhead street lighting system was
read and held over.
BERG BILL: A bill to E. Berg for repair work on the tractor for $9.75 was read with
a letter from Joe 'iierner recommending that the bill not be paid, because
of incorrect method used in doing the work.
DDITION TO Mr. A. F. Sylvestor having asked for specificications for en addition
(LYESTOR'S to the Barrel Building opposite the Liberty Theatre, n motion me de by
1RREL STAND: Haylett and seconded by mirth that Lir. S,ylvestor be notified that the
addition must comply with the specification of the Fire Ordinance. Motion
carried.
Motion made by Partch and seconded by O'Herin that the meeting adjourn.
