Burns, Haylett, O'Herin, Partch, Shaffer, and 'Wirth answering to roll call.
MINUTES: The minutes of the regular session on November 21st, and the adjourned se-

APPLICATION FC3 LICENSE for operating a taxi was read, from Ed E. Tucker. Motion made
by O'Herin, seconded
by Partch that the application be held for consideration.
Motion carried.

;.lcGhee estimated the cost of needed catch basin covers
at •314.00 each.
A motion
was made by O'Herin, and seconded by Partch, that the purchasing
agent be authorized
to purchase material for necessary improvements.
A motion
by O'Herin that the 'Wate1- committee submit bids for cast
iron
pipe, valves, and fittings
as necessary for improvements to the water system,
was
seconded by Haylett.
Motion carried on roll call.

CITY COUilCIL CIiAMB!TZS
BFRCIAL3SESSION DECEMBER 12, 1936
ROLL CALL: Pursuant to call of the Mayor, the City Council met in special session,
with Mayor McGee presiding, and Councilmen Burns, Haylett, O'Herin, Shaffer, and
Wirth present.
The meeting was called for the purpose of considering ways and means of
caring for the W.P.A. street project set-up, and for caring for any other business
which might troperly come before such meeting.
Discussion of the project was held, and it was agreed upon by all present
to get a man in charge at once, said person to be selected by the Project Committee
after further investigation.
ALL FOR BIDS FOR STREET DEPARTMENT TRUCK: A mtoion was made by Shaffer that the City
Clerk advertise for bids for a 11 ton truck with dump body, not less than 2 yards
capacity, and dual tires. Council to reserve the right to reject any and all bids
Motion seconded by girth, and carried unanimously

CITY COUiiCIL CHAMBERS
REGULAR SESSION DECEMBER 19, 1935
TOLL CALL: Council met in regular session with Mayor McGee presiding and Councilmen
Burne, Haylett, O'Herin, Partch, Shaffer, and Wirth present.
MINTUES, The minttes of the regular session of December 5th, and the adjourned
session of December 12th, were read and approved.
COM!TUNICATIONS: The contract between the State, the City of Pasco, and the i:orthern
Pacific Railway Co. was read.
O'Herin moved that the Mayor sign the contract as read, in triplicate,
and that the City Clerk return them to the N.P.R.Co. as reguested, to be executed
by said Company. Motion seconded by Haylett, and carried on roll call.
The easement of property fromtthe N.P.R.Co. for the underground crossing
was read, accepted, and placed onfile upon motion made by O'Herin, seconded by Partch,
and carried.
UIJFINISHED BUSINESS: The matter of wiring coreections in the City Hall to conform with
the repairs being made was discussed and motion mdde by Burns, seconded by Partch
that this be left to the Building Committee with power to act. Motion carried.
The application of Mr Ed. E. Tucker for a license to operate a tai was
again read. Motion made by Wirth, seconded by Burns that the license be granted.
Motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS: BY GENERAL CONSENT OF THE COUNCIL MR. JOE WERNER WAR APPOINTED SUPERVISOR
OF W. P. A. PROJECTS. Motion made by Wirth, seconded by O'Herin that the salary be set
at •$100.00 per month. Motion carried on roll call.
3EPORTS OF COM1JI`TEES: The finance committee discussed the issuing of bonds for payment
of the fire truck and the :W.P.A. street project. O'Herin made a motion that the City
Attorney prepair an ordinance to authorize the issue of j11,000.00 of General Obliga-
tion for the payment of the new fire truck and the W.P.A. street projeet materials.
Motion seconled by Partch and ca ried on roll call.
ADJOURNMENT: Motion made by O'Herin to adjourn until 7:30 P M, December 21, 1935.
Motion seconded by Haylett and carried.
