MINUTES: The minutes of the ragalar session on August let, and the special session of August 5th were read and approved. I K3PORT S: The report of ;later Manager aoGhee was read, for the period from June 15th, to duly 15th, showing a gain of $1500.06. O'Herin, reporting for the ;dork Projects committee, stated that a Projette enpinxeer would be in the City in the near future, to investigate the pro- posed projects. Mr. Harve Colvin,in behalf of the Kiwanis Club, addressed Council, stating that the Club will spend $600.00 for putting a portion of the Sylvester Park playground into grass if the city would agree to care for the upkeep. This matter was referred to the Street Committee, with instructions to meet with the YAwanis committee, and the Park Board. !+lotion was made by Wifthinand seconded by O'Herin and carried, that the committee be given powwr to act. "TRAFFIC DRDINANCE: Motion ,gas made by O'Herin, and seconded by Partch that the Police committee bring in a ±xaffta traffic ordinance for consideration at the next regular session. Motion carried. ADJOURNMENT: A motion to adjourn until 'Thursday, August, 22nd, was mpde by burns, and seconded by ;91rth. Llotion carried. CITY =111 ZLICSMM"12,83 S SPECIAL SESSION AUGUST 30, 1925 OLL CALL: Pursuant to a call by the iaayor, the city Council met in special session with Idayor McGee presiding and Councilmen Burns, Rayaett, O'Herin, and Wirth present. W. p. A. P:iOJECTS: Tho meeting was called for the purpose of passing on the set-up for the VzOP. A. Project plans of a proposed Community Hall, and for any other business whish might legally come before such meeting. After discussion of the plans, a motion was made by Wirth and seconded by O'Herin that the Mayor and City Clerk sign the 'W. P. A. application to be sent in for approval. Motion carried unanimously on roll call. IBRARY PROJECT: An application for a P. A. Pm ject for library work, covering filing ani b book mending was read. Motion was made by haylett and seconded by Wirth that the application be -accepted by the City. Motion carried unanimously on roll call. various changes were made in the proposed budget for 1936.
