passed setting aside •,550.00 from the Secondary Highway Wunds for the City's

seconled by girth that Attorney O'Brien write to Morrow, director of highways,for
full explanation.

cluded in the Secondary Highway System, referred to the City Engineer and Special
Street Committee.
LINCENSES: License applications from G. Ke foot for hotel and restaurant; Chika
Yamauchi for i-otel; Earl gunning, taxi; J.',7. Brewton, ,oft drinks; Halaye
Yamauchi, dafe; end soft drinks; 1.I1akino and T,Hattori, soft drinks and pool hall;
Clara E. 6hute, soft drinks and pool hall, were read. ,.otion made by Haylett and s
seconded by Partch that the licenses be granted. Liotion carried.
upon information being given by the clerk, showing that ,..r. Pyles had
previously payed for last years soft drink license, motion was made by :;firth,
seconded by Haylett to grant him a soft drink license for thz year ending June 30,36.
REPORTS: The treasurers monthly financial report and the clerks budget report
were placed before the Council.
Water Manager iicGhee's report for June Was read, showing a gain of N1719.63
'RAFFIC SIGN oISCUS`iED: The matter of a traffic sign at the curve of 10th Ave. and
Lewis St was brought up by Pardidih, After discussion the 1:1ayor referred the matter to
the street committee, advising that they got in touch with State Highway Patrolman
Qarnahan. The committee given power to act.
LITER BILL ON KITTY BALL ; The request of i_r. Pittva n that the water bill against the
kitty ball grounds be cancelled was referred to the water committee, to report at
the next meeting.
:ARD ROOM LICENSES: Motion made by Partch, seconded by Haylett that all card room licenses
which had been received ba granted. ..lotion carried.
