REGULAR SESSION I,fAY 21 1935.
ROLL CALL: Pursuant to agreement Council met in ad,'ournod session with Mayor McGee pre_
siding and the following councilmen present. Anderson, Burns, Haylett, O'Herin, and aOLL CALL: Council met in regular session with Mayor McGee presiding and cnoncilmen
Partch. I Anderson, Burns, HAylett, O'He.in, and Skinnell present.
STR&ET ;70;iK DISCUSSED: After discussion regarding the action to be taken about street
;cork, Mayor I.IcGee attg.pested a snecinl committee to work oiith '.:r. Pringle of the
Anderson moved that this committee be appointed and Patch seconded the motion.
!.lotion carried. i_ayor McGee appointed O'Herin, Haylett, Partch and 7lirth.
BIDS 014 POLICE CAR: 3ide for the sale of a police department car were-^ceived from Conlo.
Bros., Pasco Auto Co., 'dlilliams _iotor Co., and 3ecks Dodge, Plymouth Agency. After
cnrefull consideration a written ballot was taken showing four votes the Chevrolet
DeLttxe, t.,o door coach, at .;630.00, and one for the Chverolet Standard. A motion was
male by O'Herin and seconded by Anderson that the purchasing agent be instructed to I
buy a Chevrolet ieLuxe coach (two Dooro. I:otion carried nnanimously on roll call.

that a new mower can be bought through the Peace nardd,are for ,;11Q.00 plus the freigh

OBJECTIONABLE BUILDING: Partch reported the pr, -sense of art objectionable barn on A Street
between 10th and 11th streets owaed by a :-r.Cole. Partch moved that the City Attorney
instruc', i1r. Cole to remove the barn witi.in ton days, or the bail ing will be de-
stroyed. :_otion seconded by 'Herin and carried.

main streets. A motion was made by O'Herin, and seconded by Anderson that the street
committee look into the s tuation, and take action.

the chair.
SINESS: A letter from the City of Centralia, inviting Mayor IlcGee to attend the 19,,5
Annual Convention of Washington Cities on IIay 9th & 10th, was read, and a rtation
m,lde by Partch and seconded by Skinnell th.nt Mayor McGee attend the convention and
be allowed }10.00 per day, expenses. ].lotion carried unamimously on roll call.
A letter from the Pacific Northwest Section of the A. 17. :. A. vr-s read inviting
,;star Manager McGhee to ttend their 9th annual meeting at Lewiston, on May 16, 17 &19.
Partch made a m-dfforit Ifa 'yids ,tater manager attend this meeting with expen,-es paid.

Police report sho,,ed that card g,.mes aru being played in Sylvest ere: poll room
after 12 o'clock P.M. O'Herin moved that I.Ir. Sylvester be notified to appear before
Council on Tuesday, May 7th, at 9o'clock P.M. to show cause, if any, why hir, license
should not be revoked or suspended for the violation of the provisions of the City Ordi
nance undar which such license was issued. Skinnell seconded the motion. Motion
carried.
