At this time a committee "rom the ieterans of Foreign ;;ars addressed C-)nncil a kin,
permission to hold their cernival the 3rd, 4th and 5th of June. A motion to grant t}:is
request wec made by Partch and seconlal by O'Herin. Potion carried.
BIDS Oh01ICE CA=,: Bi 1;, for the sale of a ne,; rolice denartment car were received from
Becks Dodge , Plymouth Apency, Pasco Auto Co., ani .Villiams Motor Co., quoting prices on
ne.. cars, less tradein allor;ance on the old car. After some discussion a motion made by
O'Herin to reject all bids ass seconded by Haylett. ;.:otion carried by majority on roll c,

being waived, and asking if they should return theu5.00 fee, or carry it over on next yen;
dues. This was referred to the ;later Committee to report on t the next meeting.
.;;SOLUTION: The following resolution, loeipnatinp the City Depository was read and adopted
on motion made by Haylett, Seconded by O'Herin, and carried.

Pasco, :Ja=hineton, be and the same is hereby deF:igneted as City Depository of slid City
and the City Treas,irer is hereby authorised and empowered to ier.osit the city's funds in
such .bank rnetil Jpnpary 1, 1957, unless the authority herein given be revoked prior to
that time.

This lesipnation is made upon the condition thwt the sail bank and the said treasurer
shall comply in all resnocts with the law rel!,tinp to the giving of security for such
denosits ,nd the payment of interest thereon.

STREET SETUP DISCUSSED: After some discussion of a setup for street ;,ork the matter was
r--ferred to the street committee, O'Herin, and Pringle.
LICEBJ E. A motion made by O'Herin to instruct the City Attorney to colle@t the required
license fee from Mr. Pyles was seconded by Anderson, and carried.
TIGHT: Mayor .:cGee reported that I.rs. Halbrook had asked for a light to be 'placed at i,ixon
and Norbert Streets. This was referred to the Lipht and rater Committee with power to a
act.
RANSFER: The clerks request for permission to make a transfer of Jr 44.76 from the W.U.
fund to the Current xponse fund, account of a mistake in distribution, was rrsnted
upon motion made by O'Herin and seconded by Partch, and carried.
SIDS: Llotion made by O'Herin and seconded by Anderson and carried that the clerk re-
adver-tise for Police car bids for two door sedan with tradein on the old car. Bids to be in
on or before Monday, April 29,_ Council reserving the right to reject any and/or allbids.
ADJOUREMZ T: 7irth moved that the meeting adjourn until Monday, April 2`.', at 9 P.H. O'Herin
seconded and motion carriel.
