Licenses applic,.ations were read from Alice Baesen for Star C,,fe, V1. -D. Pence for hotal, rest,-- and soft drinks rind y'. H. Iloberl.y for an additional card table; licenses ordered issued upon motion m+ -de by 'girth, seconded by O'Herin and curried. In rega-rd to condition of 10th St. sidevaalks, Burns asked for- additional time as the Street Committee had not had chance to inv,stigate. 1,7irth reported for Police Committee th.=,t they had not had time to zxxx find out more ,;bout Pyle's license. Both committd�es were given time until next meeting. 991.93, cash obi hand in Cemetery fund, were ordered transferred to Current Expense Fund, upon motion made by 7irth, seconded by O'Herin and carried. Considerable time was spent in discussion of request of State Health Dept. that the city porch se an addition �l- chlorina-tor and move the one borrowed from the N. P. b; cl to the IJ. P. print. As a result the city attorney was informs;lly instructed to write to the State Health officers and point out the fact, thF-+t the Northern Rlant Pacific plant wa.s not physically conn acted with the city's water system at the present time; that if in case of an emergency, it became necessary to place the N. P. plant in operation, the city :-could be the xxxxt one to do this and the city most certainly would move the chlorin --tor equipment to the emergency plant before any connection was made with th city mains. PROPOSED SECOND PU1JPER: The matter of change in handling of pumps by putting on a. second pumper, was discussed and motion was made by O'Herin, seconded by Anderson and carried, th<a.t the m<:tter of second pumper be reforred to the dater Committee for investigation and r sport at the next meeting. 146 .CIT`' ...
