Oct. 3rd and 4th, was ordered paid upon motion made by i7irth, seconded by :Burns and following voting in favor upon roll cull: Burns, Haylett, Po.rtch ,nd 'v7irth; not voting, O'Herin. h9ARRANT No. 11434 i.ssl).ed) . ILICENSES Applications were read from following and gra-need upon motion made by O'Herin, seconded by :'firth and carried: Pasco Hotel, for restaurant and hotel; A .F. Sylvester, for card room and soft drinks; License application from F. L. Pyles for lunch -room license was referred to the Police Committee for investigation and report. CHIO I14ATOR: Communication read fr.orn ffal.lace &: Tiernan Co., cuoting prices of .01255.00 for 12 lb. chlorinator and :;1490.00 for 40 lb. chlorinator and same was ordered placed on the table upon motion made by Partch, seconded by ;firth and carried. CONTRACT TO FURNISH CHLORINE for the year 1935 was ,,iibmitted by the P--!nnsyly€imia Salt Co., of Ta.coma., quoting prices of 9 cents per lb. f.o.b.T,-icoma or 101 cents per lb. f.o.b.Pa.sco, they to pay return freight on empty cylinders. Motion made by Partch, seconded by '.7irth, that the mayor be authorized to sign a, contract for another year; motion carried. Comm,nnication read from E. id. Grime, ';`Dater Engineer of the Northern Pacific, a.b(but water co,nditioris at Pasco and wa ter being furnished to the railroads. After discussion, a motion was made` by O'Herin, seconded by ,;firth L..nd carried, that the C ity Attorney be instructed to -wwrite to I,.Ir. Simpson, and find out why he did not advise the Water Dept. at Pasco, a.s well. as the Surgeon General of the United ;3tates. IVIatter of. encroachme::it by B. J. Cole on A Street, between 10th End 12th, was di,-;cussedand referred to the Street Depa.rtnient, wwith rower to act, upon motion made by I7irth � n.d seconded by Partch, and carried.
