Regular Session . March 19th, 1934
ROLL CALL: Mayor Pro Tem Anderson called the meeting to order and
following councilmen answered the roll call: Anderson, Burns, Haylett and Partch;
absentees were O'Herin, Skinnell and Mirth.
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 6th and/®th were read and approved;
CLAIMS: Following claims against Current Expense were read:
Everett Castleman, $17.00, for sprinklers for the Park; motion made by Partch,
seconded by'Burns, that the bill :be allowed; all voted for the motion on roll call.
(Warrant No. 10902 issued).
Claim of Peter R. Anderson•, $3.80, for supplies and labor making blue prints
of 4th Street extension; motion made by Partch, seconded by Haylett, that the bill
be allowed and motion carried without dissent on roll call. (Warrant No. 10901 issued).
Letter from Peter Klockner regarding bonds he holds in one of the LID
districts, was read and referred to the City Attorney.
Report of Water Manager McGhee showed net earnings of $10.19 for the
preceeding monthm, and was ordered filed.
Report of City Clerk is typed form was furnished each councilman.
CARNIVAL: Messrs. Joe Bryan and Ed Pitman informed the council that
the Veterans of Fnr6ign Wars wanted to bring a carnival to Pasco May 29th, 29th and
30th, and wanted license from city to do so. Motion made by Partch, seconded
by Haylett, that the Veterans of Foreign Mars be granted permission to hold a
carnival May 29th, 29th and 30th, providing they arrange for extra police protection
and take care of cleaning the grounds of rubbish and trash, which may accumulate on
the grounds. motion carried without dissent.
ADJOURNMENT: Motion made by Partch, seconded by Burns, that the
meeting ad jotum; motion carried.
