W. E. Burns presented his resignation as a representative of the city on the Welfare Board, but resignation was placed on the table upon motion made by Haylett, seconded by Partch and carried. PETITION FOR IMP OVEI:TENT OF MOUIID STRUEUET, signed by C. H. Pohl, et al, was read and referred to the Street Commissioner, upon motion made, by Haylett, seconded by Partch ans carried. BIDS FOR SUPPLYING CHLORITE WERE received from the Tacoma Llectrochemical Co. and Hooker Electrochemical Co., price quoted being nine cents per pound, F.O.B. Tacoma, manufacturers, however, to pay return freight on empty cylinders. Uommunication read ±xn from State Public �>ervice Commission, advising that the case against the 1-'. P. w L. Co. had been postponed until ian..8th and was turned over to the. ALONG STATE HIGHWAYS VAS AGAIN READ AND City Attorney advising the council that he saw no further ob,*iection to its adoption, motion was made by Partch, seconded by 01irth, that the resolution be adopted as read; motion carried without any dissent vote.
