Regular Session _ October 3rd, 1933.
ROLL CALS,: City Council met in regular session with following councilmen present:
Burns, Haylett, O'Herin and Skinnell; in the absence of the mayor and mayor pro tem,
Councilman O'Herin was- xxkad:xtax-pxad: chosen to preside over the meeting.
MINUTES OF THE MEETINGS HELD September 19th,. 22nd and 26th were read and approved

B"SINESS TAX of 3% to be levied on Water Dept. discussed and. referred to
Finance Committee for study.
City Treasurer asked OK of council to place money secured from sales of scrip,
amounting to $118.43 in the General. Street & Improvement fund; motion made by
Haylett, seconded by Skinnell and carried, that the treasurer be authorized to do this.
APPLICATION TO JOIN THE LEAGUE OF EASTERN WASHINGTON CITIES was read, in the
form of a resolution, cost to eh city being $10.00; motion made by Burns, seconded by
Skinnell and carried on roll call, that the resolution be -adopted as read, that the
city join the league and that the city clerk be authorised to send them a warrant for
X10.00 in pa.;! went of the city's dues for the current year. WARRAPIT 10680 COVERS.
ADJOURNMEDT: Motion made by Haylett, seconded by Skinnell and carried, that -the
