Baar L, Ciinnin-ham was -present regarding their p^o-oosed contract in connection. ..ith a,
filtering plant; he sta,.ted that their proposal was the same as submitted in their letter
of June 20th and elabora*�od in their letter'of June 24th. This fixed their compensation
n. 5% of the cost of the pla.n.t; �"400.00 would be the cost of preliminary work done by
tlc7n and this amount would be absorbed in the total_ charge off 5 for all eng ineerin .
The ,Vater Committee reCOMMended that the city enter into a contract »rl.th Baa.r w Cunningham.
Motion made by O'Herin, seconded by Kaylettx that the city accept the proposal of
Baa.r L Cunningham as outlined in their letters of June 24th and 30th; carried on roll
call unanimously.

was discussed and motion was inL!de b�T O'Herin, seconded .by Skinnell., that the city attorney
and chairman of the vaater committee wait upon Asst. Supt. Colby in rovard to proposed
rates to be char ed if filtering plant is put in, as outlined by 1.1r. Baar, who stated that
it eio-ald'cost the city more than the present three cents per thousand gallons to furnish
filtered wa tef . lJo ti on carried.
