Carried without dissent and the Mayor appointed, Haylett, Burns and Wirth as the new committee. ROLL CALL: Pursuant to agreement the city council met in adjourned meeting with Mayor McGee presiding and all members of the council present. , COLLATERAL OF `T' t BANK OF COI1iI:IERCE, was discussed and O'Herin stated that he hoped to IN persuade the Bank to put up another 95000.00 -of collateral to make a total of $20,000.00. PUMPER WILL RECEIVE AN INCREASE in pay owing to fact that he is on duty practically 24 ' hours per day. Motion was made by O'Herin seconded by Skinnell and carried without dissent that pumper be allowed Y?'1.00 per day extra during months of June, July, August and September. ORDINANCE NO.404 COVERING SALE OF 3.2 % BEER was given its third reading .and various changes were made in it. Motion was made by Skinnell, seconded by O'Herin, that license of wholesalers be set at $75.00 per year and the proposed .50V per barrel tax be eliminated, motion carried. LTO ign made by Partch,-seconded by O'Herin and carried to strike out all of Section 16 except last sentence rea.dij}g "all licenses will be issued by the city clerk.' Motign made by'Partch, seconded by Skinnell, to strike on.t all of section 19 excepting the part relating to distance from churches and schools. Haylett, seconded by im 7irth aended the motion,. to strike out all of section 18. Amendment lost on roll call and original motion carried on.roll call by votes of 4 to 3.- ; Various other changes were made and motion wa.s made by Partch, sedonded by O'Herin that Ordinance No. 404 be declaredp ht,verhad its third reading; carried. Motion made by Partch, seconded by Skinnell, that Ordina;nc; ido. 404 be declared adopted as amended; carried.
