BOND ISSUE FOR UNEI,,IPLOY11Er 11T FELIEF: Communication was read for Ltate Finance
Commission advising that they would not bid on the 05000. worth of bonds which the
city proposed to iss?-e for unemployment relief, account not having the funds available.
Clerk called attention kxx to the fact that approx. $900. in Cemetery Fund
was biidge•ted as a c,lirrent expense receipt end should be transferred; he also suggested
that 76488.50 should be transferred from the Current Expense to Refuhding Bond Sinking
Fund and ;1900. from the Current Expense to Lite Bond Si nking Fund; while Current
expense is in the red, it was necessary to make transfer to enable city to retire
the bonds at maturity in August 1934; if money was not transferred to'sinking fllnd,
it might be advisable to arrange for refinancing the Refur-:ding Bond issue d-iring the
next year. Motion was made by O'Herin, seconded by Partch, that the matter be referred
to the'.Finance Committee for study and report at the meeting next 'Tuesday; motion carried.
