CLAIMS: Following claims against Current Expense and iIja.ter Funds were read and motion was made by Wirth, seconded by Burns that the bills be allowed and warrants be drawn for the same; roll call showed all voting for the motion. Commnication from Sta.nddrd Oil Co., relative to lwl per gal. tax on at:.soline for Water Dept., read, they stating that they would not be able to allow credit for gas used by Water Dept. Motion made by O'Herin, seconded by Partch, that matter be referred to city attorney- carried. Communication from Cox Investment Co., quoting revised rates for fire insurance on the city hall and furnishings was mr referred to Finance Committee upon motion made by O'Herin, seconded by Partch and carried. A dray license was granted to E. 1. Kiepke upon motion made by Partch, seconded' by O'Herin and carried without dissenting vote. SCRIP PROPOSED TO PAY FOR UNE11P1OYIV4_-,NT RELIEF: The matter of issuing scrip. in oayment of services on streets by unemployed, was discussed, the following' citizens representing the ffb_tg Chamber of Comnerce being present: F. I.. Perry, Dr. '17. t'. Robbins, E. L. Collins, Ray Chenoweth, Earl James and Roy H. Skill.. Meeting of the council. was adjourned so that an open meeting for free discussion of the matter could be had. (NOTE: During the open meeting a motion was m de by Robbins, seconded by Partch that a committee consisting of the Mayor, City Attorney and one representative of the Chamber of Commerce, the Pasco Credit Assn, and the Xiwanis Club be appointed to study the proposal and make recommendations at another meeting with the council Dec. 21st.)
