no action was taken.
SALE OF BONDS FOR UNEMP10YIEENT RELIEF: O'Herin brought Tip matter of u.nemployinent
relief and following resolution (see page 393) wes read and motion wa.sm made -by Pa.rtch, seconded
by Burns, that the TSI=:yor and city clerk.be instructed to sign the resolution covering
proposed bond issue; motion carried on roll call unanimously.
,."Motion then made by Pa.rtch, seconded by Wirth, that the x±±city clerk
advertise „;5,000.00 of the proposed :,;10,0000 bond issue fxrxxxlx authorized by Ordinance
No. 401, for sale, bids to be opened January 10th, 1933. Roll call ordered and showed
all voting for the motion.

RESOLUTION DIRECTING SALE OF BONDS.
t'MEAS the City Council of the City of Pasco did, on the
4th day of November, 1932, duly adopt Ordinance Number 401 of
said City, providing for the borrowing of 010,000 for the use
of said City for the purpose of improving the streets and alleys
thereof by grading, gravelling and otherwise surfacing the Same
and thereby providing employment for the unemployed citizens of
said City and providing for the issuance of the Cityt s negotiabl 3
bonds in the sum of yS10,000 to provide the said monies,
NOVI, UTEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Pasco that the City Clerk of the said City be and is
hereby authorized and directed to advertise in accordance with
the terms of the said Ordinance and in accordance with the law
that the City Council of said City will meet at the Council
Chamber in the City Hall at Pasco, Washington, at 8:00 o'clock,
P.Ma on Tuesday thel0th day of January, 1933, for the purpose of
receiving sealed bids on said bonds in -the amount of 1)5000 only
of said pnvposed issue and. the City Clerk is directed to publish
said notice as provided in the said Ordinance and by lair and
mail a copy thereof to the State finance Committee, at Olympia,
Uashington, not less than three weeks prior to the time afore-
said.
Passed and approved this 6th day of December, 1932, by the
City Council of said City.

classed Pasco as in the 7th class in matter of fire protection and suggesting a number
of changes in 'fire fighting equipment, etc. 1.118tter referred to Fire Committee for study
and report with recommendations at the next meeting of council.
Report of unpaid water bills will be gone over by the Nater Committee and brought
up at the next meeting of the council.
