CLAIM OF DARLEY & CO. for balance due on fire siren was reported on by Fire & ala.ter Committee thru Ha.ylett; committee recommended payment- of $100.00 on this bill afater the first of the year, the balance of "62.30 to be paid by the Fire Dept. during the year. Report accepted by the council. Reports of Building Inspector and Police Judce were read and ordered filed. Matter of furnishing water to sheepmen and ranchers from city tap was discussed and referred to the Police Committee, these people now getting water from a tap back of the bakery. Ordinance was thereupon read for the third••time. Motion made by O'Herin; seconded by Partch, that "twenty bonds" be put in section No.3; motion carried. Motion made - by Anderson, seconded by 'O'Herin, that bonds and interest be made payable at the office of the city treasurer of Pasco, or at the office of the fiscal 3.gent•of the St•ui.te of Washington in New York City at the option of the holder of the bonds; motion carried. . LIBRARY BOARD in place of Geo. Gough, resigned. Motion made by 'i/irth, seconded by Partch and carried that the appointment be confirmed; Fire Chief Pa•ngle brought up the matter of fire hazards in the city and the matter was referred to the Fire & dater Committee with power to act.
