Dowd and 82 other citizens was read reaa..rdinti dogs ri,tnninc; at large and damatiing flowers, etc. and asked that an ordinance prohibiting dogs from running at lar; -e within the city limits be passed. Motion made by McGee, seconded by ;;firth, that the appointment be confirmed; motion carried. Motion thereupon made by Johnson, seconded by I.icGee, that the pouh.dma.ster be authorized and instructed to collect dog taxes and that he be paid on the basis of one half of what he collects. Roll call showed motion passing without dissent. PETITION READ FROTf ALBERT S. BYERS, asking that a house obstructing his property, lots 1 to 5 of Block 96, Pasco Land Co.'s First Addn. to Pasco; be removed. Motion made by IJcGee, seconded by ;'Wirth, that the m:.tter be referred to the Street & Alley Committee ,with pouter to act: motion carried unanimously on roll call. Haylett spore to council about improving the street leading to the cemetery by pilin- when county equipment ca.r,ie to Pasco, stating that county would probably be willing to oil the street, if the city would bear the expense of oil on that portion within the city limits.
