AUSTIN FOR License to operate pool hall was read; motion made by _:inderson, seconded by ;firth, that license be granted; carried. REPORT OF V;ATE ' I.1AU11GER, showing net profit of x'709.79 was read, aldo report of Police Judge; both orderedgiled. BUS I EIJ FILED PETITION: L. D. Conrad of the VvIashington I:Iotor Coach Co., R. A. Theis of the Union Pacific Sta.-es and J. H. Rosenberg of the Colurlbia Gorge Coach System presented a petition to the council sinned by them and endorsed by E. J. Reynolds and -,l. D. Pence, aski,',- the council to set :.side space for motor coaches in front of the Pence Hotel and Pasco Hotel buildings. Upon motion made by -firth, seconded by '.Teyer, the matter was made a special order of business to be considered at the adjourned meetinn of the council to be held Saturday, June -Oth. The council instructed him to file a voucher claiming the „15.00 and they viould consider the matter at that time. BU'- IED BUILDI11(C 0-11 FOU_�TH ST .iiM HAZA:,D: The building next to Lee Perry Co. on Fourth St. is deemed dangerous and has been so -reported by both the fire Dept. and Building Inspector. I�:iotion was made by 1.1eyer, seconded by Anderson, that the matter be referred to the Street L, Alley Comrnlittee with poli er to act; motion carried. Communication fromt the Chamber of Commerce recor.:-;;ended that a member of the Fire D::)pt. be perL-itted to attend the State Firemen's College at Port Anneles June 17th to 20th inclu:-ive; motion made by Anderson, seconded by firth, that the sum of Fifty Dollars be allowed to pay expenses of the Fire Chief to attend the meeting. Elotion carried. Bids for gas and oil to be furnished the city for the next year were opened; bids on Gasoline were as follows: Union Oil Co:, 13 cents per gn.11on; Standard Oil Co. 191 cents per gallon. Shell Oil Co., 19' cents per gallon. Action on the bids was deferred intil the next meeting upon motion made by Anderson, secondeq by "firth.
