ROLL CALL: The City Couuncil met in regular session with I.Iayor Gray presiding
and .following councilmen present: Councilmen Anderson, Johnson, Ideyer, Skinnell
and Vvirth; absentees were IrlcGee and Partch.
I1INUTES OF MEETING HED April 7th and adjourned session on April 9th were read
and approved.
Chief Pangle and Lieutenant Henderson of the -'ire Dept. were present and asked
that a fire hydrant be installed at Fourth & "A" Streets. IYIotion made by Johnson,
seconded by Skinnell, that matter be referred to tVa.ter Committee for investigation
and report at the next meeting. Carried unanimously on roll call.
Motion made by I.Teyer, seconded by Skinnell and carried without dissent on roll
call, that Fire Chief be authorized to purchase a suitable ladder for the Fire Dept.
to replace a worn out ladder.
CLAIMS AGAINST CU:zRENT EXPENSE: Following claims against Cmrrent Expense were
read and motion made by Anderson, seconded by girth, that the bills be allowed and
warrants be drawn for the same; carried unanimously on roll call:

St. and Jerry L. Osburn at the Denver Hotel. I:�iotion made by Anderson, seconded by
'Wirth, that the licenses be granted; carried on roll call without dissent.
Johnson brought up matter of stray dogs; clerk reported 91 licenses for dogs
had been issued; mayor advised the council that 48 dogs had been killed at the pound.
ADJOU III:IE T.: Motion made by Skinnell, seconded by Johnson, that matting
adjourn; motion carried.
