SHELL OIL CO. BILLS: Bills of Shell Oil Co., (Current Expense 63.89
and :dater Dept. 20.17) covered gasoline at 201=c per gallon and upon motion made by
McGee, seconded by Johnson, was referred to the Street & Alley Committee for investigation.
Communication read from Puget Sound 11ortage Co., relative to L.I.D.
bonds, offering to settle outstanding bonds valuedat X50,000.00 for X25,000.00, these
bein^ 3.11 bonds in LID 7127. 7130 and 1`23. No action taken, except that clerk was
informally instructed to simply ackno-011edge receipt of the letter.
Report of Police Judge read and ordered file.
BUSSES AT FOU-RTH & LE7IS STREETS: The Police & License Committee
submitted the follovring report to the council: "The Police & License Committee hereby
recommend to the council that can ordinance be prepared for introduction at the next
meeting thereof, provided that auto busses be restricted from loading or unloading
passengers, e..,.: -press or baggage on any of the public streets or alleys of the City of
Pasco." T.Iotion made by Partch, seconded by `,'firth, that the report of the committee
be accented and that the city attorney be instructed to draw up an ordinance to the
above effect; roll call shored all voting for the motion.
PEDDLER O DII 110E: Police Committee reported that they had been unable to
do anything in regard to the proposed peddler truck ordinance, up to present time.
STREET Committee also reported.that they had done nothing in regard to
preparing an ordinance covering collection of ga.-rbage and rubbish.
Citizens who were present were asked if they ,.jished to say anything to
the council and several talked about proposed buss ordinance. Representatives of
buss companies who were present, asked that copies of the proposed ordinance be mailed to
them.

BIDS OPENED FOR TRACTOR AND G LADER : Only one bid had been received for
tractor and grader advertised for during the past two weeks, this being bid of the
Lampert Implement Co., Ya.kima.,offffering one used 5 ton Holt Tractor No. 112676 and one
used Stocklanr! Grader No. 324, for a price of 61000.00 cash, FOB, Yakima.. Street
Superintendent Partch and Street Commissioner Hill having reported that they had
inspected the equipment and found it in satisfactory shape, motion was made by
Partch, seconded by Johnson, that the bid of the Lampett I.1achinery Co., be considered
as the best bid, their proposition accepted and that the clerk be instructed to draw
up warrants in payment of the equipment, 41200.00 to be charged to .7a,te-r Dept. and
P�500.00 to the Street Dept. Roll call shofed all voting for the motion.

LIGHT AT LEVuIS STREET-CROSSIidG: Partch reported for Light Committee that they
would recommend placing a 75 iiatt light between the tracks at the Lewis St. Crossing,
at which point a. large light was rerioved when neer pole lights were placed in operation,
and that the 6000 lumen light now in pole at Tacoma. & Lewis be replaced with a, 4000
lumen light. Hotion made by Partch, seconded by Johnson, that the P. P. L".: L. Co. be
instructed to place a 75 watt light between the tracks at Lewis St. crossing, at the
location of light formerly there; roll call shooed all voting for the motion.
