ROLL CALL: The city council met in regular session with I:Iayor Gray presidigg and
following councilmen present: Davis, I,Ieyer, Partch and ,7irth; Sargent came in later
and 2av±xxamt McGee and Anderson were absent.

CLAL,1S AGAINST CURRENT EXPENSE: Following bills against Current Expense Fund were
read and motion made by Partch, seconded by Wirth, that bills be allowed and warrants
be drawn for the same; roll call showed all voting for the motion.

License application read from the Kitchen Restaurant; motion made by Partch,
seconded by ;Mirth, that the license be granted; roll call showed all voting for the
motion.
Report of ,,tater I.Ianager read showing net earnings of ?283.74; report of clerk
in typed form passed to members of the council; report of treasurer was passed around.
Reports ordered placed on file.
TREASURER'S BOND REDUCED: 11otion was made by Partch, seconded by "firth,
that the bond of the City Treasurer be reduced from ?,,30,000.00 to 010,000.00 effective
January lst, 1931; roll call showed all voting for the motion.
ORDINANCE No. 389, being "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE LIINII,IIZING OF RADIO
INTERFEREI:ICE, for the inspection of electrical equipment, licensing of electrical
apparatus, and regulating the erection of radio aerials in the City of Pasco" was
given its third reading. I:Iotion made by Davis, seconded by Sargent, that the ordinance
be declared to have had its third reading;. roll call showed all voting for the motion.
I:Io ti on then made by Partch, s econdeft by Wi:blCh, that Ordinance No. 389 be
declared adopted as read; all voted for the mot -ion on roll call.
BIDS FOR TRUCK FOR ti7fAT. E DEPA.RTIVIENT: The t'dater Dept. being in need of a
new truck to replace one worn out had solicited bids from local automobile dealers.
CITY ATTORNEY RULED DH.eST IN HIS OPINION, SECTION 44, "BIDS FOR CONTRACTS", as shown on
page 33 of Laws for Third Class Cities, as compiled by State Auditor did not apply
in securing bids for a car. Two bids were received, as follows: Powell Motor Co.
for Ford truck, to cost $598.00; Pasco Auto Co., for Chevrolet truck, to cost e"600.00.
After considerable discussion, motion was made by Wirth, seconded by Davis, that the
purchase of a car be postponed until the adjourned meeting to be held Dec. 30th. Roll
call showed all voting for the motion.
Votes cast in the general city election Dec. 2nd, 1930, were canvassed by
the council, but no differences from figures submitted by election officers were noted.
Those declared elected were as follows: Mayor, A• P. Gray; Treasurer, Azell Rutherford;
Clerk, D. J. Speier; Attorney, C. M. O'Brien; Councilman -at -large A. M. Johnson;
Councilmen, C. 0• 17irth, P. C. I:Ieyer and D. S. Skinnell.
