ROLL CALL: The city council met in regular session with jaayor Pro Tem McGee
presiding*and folloAng members present: Councilmen Davis, -McGee, Meyer, Partch
and Wirth; absent Anderson and Sargent;
MINUTES OF REGULAR SESSION HELD AUGUST 19th were read and approved. .
CLAI1%1S AGAINST CURRENT EXPEUSE: Following bills against Current Expense bund
were read and motion was made by Partch, sec cnded by Wirth, that bills be allowed and
warrants. be drawn for the same; roll call showed all voting for the motion.

Motion made by Partch, seconded by Wirth, that Street Superintendent be instructed
to advise tiie Park Board, that they should get their gasoline from supply at City Hall.
Motion carried viva voce.

License application for three trucks of Pasco Transfer read and motion made by
Wirth, seconded by Partch, that application be granted; gmtk motion carried.
Communication from Library Board in regard to their 1931 budget was read and
ordered filed.
Repairs to cirrb at 3rd cs; Lewis was referred to Street Committee for action.
Proposed Ordinance No. 387, gyanting an extension of one year in which to
begin operations to the N. CJ. Natural Gas. Co., was laid on the table until nexus meeting
by unanimous consent.
Proposed Ordinance No. 386, authorizing Street Dept. to close streets for
repairs for read for the third time. Motion made by Partch, seconded by Meyer, that
ordinarn e be declared to have had its third reading; carried unanimously on roll call.
Motion made by Partch, seconded by Davis, that Ordinarne 1,1o. 386 be declared adopted
as read; roll call showed all voting for the motion.
Report of Police Hudge read and ordered filed. Report of dater Manager
McFarland, showing net profits of Q1615.96 was read and ordered placed on file.
1931 BUD(DT CONSIDERED: The council proceeded to consider the tentative
budget as submitted by the City Clerk, a copy having been furnished to .each councilman.
Figures in the bud.g t were raised by $5500,00 and motion was then made by Meyer, seconded
by Davis, that the preliminary budget km= for 1931 and the following resolution be
adopted; roll call showed all voting for the motion:
"WHEREAS,, the City Council of the City of Pasco, Washington, met in regular
session on Tuesday, the 2nd day of September, 1930, to consider the preliminary budget
for the City of Pasco far the year 1931, and having made such reviq.ons as deemed
advisable in said budget as submitted by the Ui ty Clerk of said City of :fiasco,
"NOW, TH.EREFCRE, BE IT iESOLVED, that the preliminary budget so considered
be and the same is hereby ordered placed on file for the information of any taxpayer

who may call at the office of the City Clerk. for information conerning same, or for
copies thereof, and
BE IT FUIIt'HER RESOLVED, that the. City Clerk of the City of Pasco, give due
notice that -said preliminary budget is on file and that the City Council will meet on Mon_
day, the Sixth day of October, 1930, at the hour of eight o'clock P. 1A. at the
City Hall in the City of Pasco, for the purpose of fixing the final budget and
making tag levies in accordance therewith; - that the City Ulerk cause such notice
to be published once each week for two consecutive weeks immediately following the
adoption of this resolution.
