Partch suggested that city secure a quit claim deed from the old Wat er Users Association, and that the ci ty then give a quit claim deed for the old tank, pump, etc. to Mr. Pyles, e�Iio formorly operated the plant and to settle the matter amicably, that the city give ldr. Pyles an amount of approx. $200.00 or so, in p8yment of valves, pipes and Zikifittings in the old system which could be salvaged and used, TvIr. Pyles then to sign a release to the city covering all matters in argument. After discussion, motion was made by Wirth, seconded by Anderson, that the matter be referred to the Water Committee for consideration and report at the ne•>t meeting. Clerk brought up the matter of license issued to Cole Bro s. Show, they making ap- plication for a dog & pony shote license and then advertising a circus; there being a difference of $20.00 in the rates of these two shows; clerk was instnw ted to collect the additional �4�20..00 with the aid of the C bief of Police, if it was ac tulally a cd rcus . Report of :'later Manager read, as were reports from Police Judge and Building Insp eeto r; all ordered placed on fi le. Finance Committee reported relative to Treasurer's Disbursing Order on LID m30 bonds, that these bonds were all held by the Pugett Sound I:iortgcge Co. and recommended that T zI;.-yor and Clerk be authorized to sign this disbursing order; which was done. Wirth stated that Demps Butler had a car which he was not iu ing and wished the city to use for pulling a hose cart to fires. He would turn the car over -Lb the city without cost for vze as long as he ,vas here, provided the city would pay for tLe license for the car. Motion made by Partch, seconded by Anderson, tl).t Butler be authorized to secure a license for the car. Roll call shaved following: Ayes, Anderson, Meyer, Partch and Wirth; noes, Sargent. Councilmen asked that quarters formerly occupied by Chief at City Hall be vacated; motion made by Anderson, seconded by (firth, that I1ayor be requested to have living; quarters pro- vided for the Chief of Police vacated as soon as possible.
