ROLL CALL: City council met in regular session with Mayor Gray presiding and
following members present: Anderson, Davis, Meyer, Sargent and 1,7irth; absentees were
McGee and Partch.
M-TFUTES OF MEETING HEZD,APRIL 15th were read and approved.
CLAIMS AGAINST NATER FUND: Following claims were read against vlat er Fund
and motion
was made by Wirth, seconded by Anderson, that bills be allowed and warrants
be drawn for the same; roll call showed all voting for the motion:

budget.
Motion was then.made by Anderson, seconded that Iffirth, that
the bill be

Wirth; Noes,
Davis and Sargent; declared carried.

APPLICATION OF Pasco Triple X Co., thru A. F. Sylvester, eras received, asking for
license to operate a soft drink estgb,lishment opposite the Liberty Theatre;All voted
for motion made by Wirth, seconded by Heyer, that the license be granted, upon roll call.
Report of !;Tater I:1anager showed receipts of: �;?�3326.45, expenses of J'4254.39, plus
transfer of ��15'70.00 to sinking fund, showing a loss for the month of $249'7.94, this
being due to work of fu.mishing water to residents of Gray&s East riverside Addition.
Report ordered placed on file.
Report of Building inspector and Police Judge for April were read and .ordered filed.
Proposed ordinance providing for inspection, .of premises by Fire Chief or
subordin^-t-es . was due for a third reading; motion made by Anderson, seconded by Davis,
that the ordinance be referred back to the Fire Committee and City Attorney for revision,
etc. Roll call showed all voting for the motion.
Meyer reported for the Fiance Committee relative to fleet liability ins-urance
for the city .cars .and after discussion, motion was nn de by Davis, seconded ,by,; -Sargent, that
the matter be referred back to the Finance Committee to find ways and means of financing
the nn tter; roll call. showed. unanimous vote for, the motion.
IvIoti,on made by Anders ' on, seconded, by Sargent, that .the Clerk be instruc ted to
advise the Library Board, thatthe library's budget will be cut ,'200.00, the amount of
their estimated receipts; roll call shoved all voting for the motion.

caused by the death of Chief Taylor; motion made by ':Tirth, seconded by Anderson, that the
appointanent be confirmed; roll call shwed�all, yqtl ng..in._favor bf the motion.
Mayor Gray stated the appointment of a tz patrolman would ,be held in abeyance until
the next meeting.
Davis reported that the cost of resetting_.the, flagpole was X69.93.
