COLU11BIA STREET SIDEWALK ASSES&IRIT ROLL ADOPTED: No. one appearing to protest
against 'the assessment roll prepared for the Columbia St. sidewalks, Ordinaace No. 383
covering -the adoption of this roll was read. Motion made by Partch, seconded by Meyer
that the ordnance be. declared to have had its $rst reading; roll call showed unanimous
vote in favor. Ordinance read by ti tle and motion made by Partch, seconded by Wirth
that Ordinance be declared to hate had its second reading; roll call showed ell voting
for the moon.

CONCT FOR LIGHTING NEW LIGHTS: A proposed ordinance embodying a contract with
the Pacific Power &- Light Co., was discussed, having been given two readings at a
previous meeting; motion nn de by Wirth, seconded by Aleyer, that it be referred to
the :Light Committee for further investigation and report.
ADJOURNMBI i'T TO DECElr, ER 30th: For the purpose of clearing up the year's
business, meeting adjourned until 8 P.I:I., December 30th, upon motion made by Partch
