Hays, amount 9;1.00, had _ only been OK'd by one member of auditing committee and motion was made by 1VIcGee, seconded by Davis, that the bill be referred to the Cemetery Committee for investigation; roll call showed all voting for the motion. Bill of Pasco Hardware Co., amount �{4.15 which called for more materia]. than requisition upon motion by I.IcGee, . seconded by Stringham was referred to the Street Dept.; roll call showed all voting for the motion. Bill of Brady -Layman. Garage for 05.25 for storage of truck was made up at 75¢ per night and upon motion by Partch, seconded by Sargent, was referred to the Claims Committee for investigation; roll call showed unanimous vote for the motion. Communication from Holophane vo., Newark, Ohio, was' ordered placed on file. regard In/Erto claim of J. J. ISills for overcharge, later Ilanager 1doretz advised council that this bill had been paid. APPLICATION FOR A LICENSE WAS RECEIVi;D FROI,I A.BECX to conduct soft drink fountain and motion was made by McGee, seconded by Stringham that the license be granted; roll call showed unanimous vote for the motion. Street Committee reported regarding abandonment of Tourist Park, that they would recommend it be continued for this year; motion made by McGee, seconded by Davis, that recommendation of committee be approved; roll- call shored all voting for the motion. Street committee thru Partch reported regarding work of gravelling Yakima Ave., and stated that the j,S,t curve at S ylveU rger S c Street would be cu,out 256 Regular Session _ Miarch 5th, 1929 and the street straightened according' then plans; motion made by I,IcGee, seconded by Stringham that council approve action of Street Dept; roll callshowed all voting for the motion. IVIAYOR GRAY PPOINTED Ray Zee as Chief of Police in place of F. L. Perry, who had failed to qualify;. motion male by IlTcGee, seconded by Partch, that the appointment be confirrAe d; motion carried on roll call; roll call showed all voting for the mo tion, REVOLVING FUND GRIMIED PALM BOARD: Motion made by Partch, seconded by Stringham, that the Parr Board be granted a revolving fund of Q100.00 until November 1st, with which to pay labor, etc.; roll 'call showed :unanimous vote for the motion. (WARRANT No. 7597 issued) LIBRARY BUDGET CUT: Mo ti on made by Davis, seconded -by by Sargent, that the clerk.be instructed to charge off p,200.00 'fnm the library budget, this being the amount of estimated receipts for 1929; roll call shoved all voting for the motion. Street Supt. Partch advised the council that Mr. Broi7ivn was milling to furnish crushed rock to the city at ya.00 per yard and that the Street Dept. intended to secure some for -resurfacing streets.
