REHABILITATION Or' CLUSTER LIGH°1'S : Davis explained what had been done in con-
nection with the proposed reconstruction of lights and stated that while the illuminating
engineer who was here some time ago, stated that the city should be able to obtain a
rate of 1-!.V per TSH, ,the 2. F. & L. Co. would not grant better than a 3V rate; Wenatchee
with similar lights is only paying a charge of 2s¢ per MH to the lVash. hater Power Co.
Lights on Fourth St. had to be cut out on both sides of the street between Lewis & Clark,
as the P. P. & L. Co. could not keepxtthe lights going and serve the business institutions
from the same transformer. While the city is noiir 'paying 81148.00 per year for these
lights, under the proposed system, it would cost approx. 51975.00. No action taken--
