Two of these forms on L. I. D. 47 were submitted to the council, one for 5.210.00 in favor of I:Iexico Savings Bank, :i 204. RE' GULI?R SESSIOiv November 'lst, 1927. action was necessary. Lotion was thereupon made by.i'yles, seconded by C. H. Smith, that City Attorney be, instrilcted to zirite to Attorney Davis of the bonding company and ask him to meet with the special committee and Swanner in 'regard to the Puryear bond. Upon roll call all voted for the motion. STREET C012VIISSIONER r S SALARY HAS BEEN FIXED AT $150.00 per month x in the budget for 1928 and motion was. made by Pyles, sec.)nded by C. H. Smith, that the City Attorney be instructed to diarr up an ordinance making the salary of the Street Commissioner 5150.00 pe -r month, effective January lst, 1920; upon roll call all voted for the motion. ORDINANCE NO. 368 ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR THE YEAR, 1928 `NAS GIVEN ITS THIRD R+ ADING; motion rade by Pyles,,* seconded by C. H. Smith,' that the ordinance be declared to have had its -third reading; roll call shov-red unanimous vote for the motion. Motion made by C. H. Smith,' seconded by Hays, that the ordinance be declared adopted as read; roll call showed unanimous vote for the motion. ORDINAINCE No. 369 ADOPTING REVISED TRAFFIC REGULATIONS WAS READ; C. H. Smith, seconded by Pyles, moved that the ordinance be declared to have had its third reading; upon roll call., all voted for the motion. Pyles moved that the section -relative to a "U" ' turn at 4th Lewis Streets be stricken out but motion was lost for grant of a second. C. H. H. Smith, seconded by i7ayde, that the matter of confirmation be carried over until the next regular meeting and that the Police gommittee investigate as to whether -there was such a party. Upon roll call, all voted in favor of the motion, - HYDRANT AT BEECH & HELENA: In regard to the new hydrant wanted on the East side, Davis moved,- seconded by C. H. Smith, that the dater Dept. be authorized to place the new hydrant at the alley on Helena Street, between e'lehe and Beech Streets, instead of the, location asked for at corker of. Beech and Helena. Upon roll call,^ all voted for the motion,- except, Pyles,' who had. left. Davis reported on the trip to Wenatchee made by Iaayor Gray, F. L. Perry, Manager Skill of the P. P..& L.
