AGI JRMEJT WITH STATE HIGHWAY DEPT. FOR CITY TO TAKE CARE STATE STREETS THROUGH CITY: The State Highway Engineex agreed to carry one man one day per week, salary �5 per—day, gas and oil- for grader that day, and in addition to that keep grader blades sharpened; and on motion by O'Herin duly seconded by McGee that the agreement as outlined by the Street Committee in.regard to the. grading of the state highways through the City be accepted and the Street Superintendent be authorized to enter- into such agreement wish the State Highway Engineer, .the Mayor directed a Roll Call. Ayes, Unanimous, SALARY OF CHIEF OF POLICE AND PATROL11VTAN SHELBY BE ALLOaTED: On motion by O'Herin d4y seconded by McGee that the time of the Chief of Police Puryear and patrolman Shelby,ba from May 1st. to Ilay 20th, inclusive, be allowed, after certified Ito by the Claims Comiittee; and warrants issued and presented to the Idayor fur his signature, the Mayor directed a Roll Call, Ayes•;• Anderson, Hayes, McGee, O'Herin, Pyles, Robbins and Smith.
