ROLL CALL:
The City Council met in Adjourned Session with the following members present,
O'Herin, presiding in the absence of Mayor Jensen; Councilmen , Anderson, Hay es,
McGee, Pyles, and Smith. Absent., Robbins and Mayor Jensen.
ORDINANCE NO. 356: (Previously passed but void then account incomplete as to form)
Ordinance No. 356 repealing ordinance No. 353 -entitled an aordinance
creading the office of Deputy City Treasurer, Defining the .Duties, fixing salaries,
etc. was read for the first time, and on motion by Anderson duly seconded by Hayes that
said ordinance be declared to have had its first reading, the P:Iayor directed a Roll Call..
Ayes, Anderson, Hayes, I2cGee, O'herin, Pyles and Smith.
Said Ordinance- No. 356 was read for the 2nd. time by title only and on motin
by Hayes drily seconded by Anderson that the said ordinance be declared to have had its
2nd reading,by title only, the Mayor directed a Roll Call. Ayes, Anderson, Hayes,
McGee, O'Herin, Pyles and Smith.
LICENSES GRANTED:
On motion by`Pyles duly secondedby Anderson that W.D.Pence be granted
a license to operate a hotel, the Mayor directed a Roll Call. Ayes, Unanimous.
_On motion by Hayes duly seconded by Anderson that a license be granted
Arthur A. In'Iorin, to operate a Soft Drink Parlor at -Cor. 3rd. and Lewis Sts.,
"Palace of Sweets", the Mayor direbted a Roll Call. Ayes, Unanimas.
POLICE JUDGE REPORT FOR MONTH OF SEPTEMBER was read,and on motion by Hayes duly seconded
by Andersen that the report be accepted as read and ordered placed on file, the Mayor
directed L,a Roll Call. Ayes Unanimous,
BIDS RECEIVED ON CITY COAL:
This being the time and place set for the receipt of bids on City Coal, all bids
vera opened and read, and on motion by AAndthson duly seconded by Smith that the oid of
Juvenal's Fuel Yard, on 8 inch Lump (Northwest Improvement Co.), $8.94 per ton delivered
be accepted and a contract be entered into, and the time of` delivery be not to exceed A
3u days from date, the Mayor directed a Roll Call. Ayes, Anderson, Hayes, McGee, O'Herin4%
Pyles and Smith.

ers, by the City be referred to the Finance Committee, to report on atthe next regular
meeting of the City Council, the Mayor directed a Roll Call. Ayes Unanimous.

CITY WATER DEPARTMENT TO PURCHASE NEW AUTO:
On motion by McGee duly seconded by Smith that the Water Committee be authorized
to purchase a Ford Roadster for the use of the Water Department, with an expenditure
not to exceed ,$x461:00, the Mayor directed a Roll Call. Ayes, Hayes, McGee, OtHerin,
Pyles and Smith. (Councilman Anderson excused from the meeting just prior to this
item).
RESOLUTION REQUESTING CITY TREASURER TO REPORT WATER COLLECTIONS MADE;, to the City
Clerk for the use of the Water Department:
"WHEREAS the City WaterDepartment is making Water Collections,
And WHEREAS the Water Department will be required to furnish the City Council
with a Report each month of the Financial Transactions of the said Water Department,
commending Sept. 30, 1925s
And WHEI;EAS a part of the Water Collections have been since Sept. 30th, 1925
and are now being paid in to the City Treasurer,
Now THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Treasurer be and hereby is instructd
to file with the City Clerk the water collections, (giving customers account number
.and amount) to date, commencing September 30th, 1925, and daily hereafter.

On motion by McGee duly seconded by Smith that the City Clerk be authorized to
forward to the Cascade Pipe and Flume Co. a $a.QQ Water Construction Bond to rhake payment
