said Campbell -Construction to., the Mayor directed a Stoll Call.. Ayes; Anderson, Hayes,

of 600 for preparing a Chart covering the City's Water System was read., -and explained
in detail by Mr. TIurray; and on motion by O'herin daly seconded by Pyles that the bid
be accepted and Engineer hIurray authorized to prepare such map, as set out in his bid,

A Bid and Contract of the Empire Electric Co., dated June 24, 1925, to
install a signal line to the Pumping plant was read, and the I•Iayor and City authorized
to sign up for the same Frith .the said Empire Electric Co.,,, the matter of letting the
contract having been.left to the 1'1a -ter Committee. ( See minutes Regular Session June 2nd.,;'

his requesting the resignation of Chief of Police E.A.Piiryear, appointing a committee
to investigate charges against the Chief of Police,,' "etc., waa readj�Land hrdered placed

REPORT I?ADE BY VfATER' COT2..,IITTEE, on water -rates on property such as LI.K.Gray Johnson's,
and others similar, but after some discussion the matter eras again referred back
and left in the hands of the Mater Committee to give further consideration.
STREI,T COL11ITTEE asked for more time to report on matter of Street marking, the same
to be reported on at the next regular session of the City Council.
FE161.:WAI-ER'_BILL0, BEING 1,1AILED OUT LATE:
A Special Committee, Chairman of Dater Committee, of the Finance C ommittee and
of the Auditing Committee was appointed by the Taayor to check up and -report on the matter
of City Water bills getting out in due time; at the next regular session of the Council.
