CITY MATER 11TAIIIAGER AUT.iORIZED TO PURCHASE CERTAIN TOOLS: A 001,:IUHICATION from the City eater Manager,. requesting authority to purchase certain fittings and pipe tools, also 5 5/8 x 3/4" and one 2" water meters was read, and on motion by O'Herin duly seconded by McGee that the Water Manager besauthorized to make such purchase, the I+Mayor directed a}Aoll Call. Byers, et al asking that the City ta1M over a certain old pipe line in their locality was read and referred to the ,ater ' Committee to investigate and report at the next regular meeting of the City Council, IMPORT QOU11CILIVIAN ANDERSON ON ILA HILL CLAIM FOR INJURY: ( Stepped into Meter Opening) Councilman Anderson reported that he had talked to I1rs. Hill and that she was then well. He requested that others of the Claims Committee report their findings in the matter, and the same was so ordered by the Mayor. III CEN SE S GRAN TED : On motion by McGEE duly seconded by Anderson that the application bf Yamouchi be accepted and a Hotel license granted him to operate what is known as the Tacoma Hotel, on Tacoma Street, the Mayor directed aRoll Call. Ayes, Unanimous* APPLICATION JOHN B. AIBI FOR SOFT DRINK,POOL HALL AND CARD ROOM LICENSE (Not Granted) : On motion by O'Herin duly seconded by Anderson that no license be granted John t3. Abi to operate Soft Drink parlor,Pool Hall and Uard Rooms at Hotel Cunningham, the Mayor directed aHoll Call. Ayes, Unanimous, INTERIOR CITY HALL TO BE IULSOIJINED AND CLEANED UP: On motion by O'Herin duly seconded by Hayes that the COMMITTEE on Public Property be authorized to use their descretion in the matter of cleaning up the City Hall, the expenditure for same not to exceed X200.00, the mayor directed aRoll Call,. Ayes, Unanimous. , RE. FINING UP ROOM IN CITY bj= I'OR WOLIEN PRISONERS: Councilman I:IcGee reported on the matter of putting in bars and f'i:dng up a certain room in the City Hall for ::omen Prisoners and it was decided that the matter be passed, up for the present. ORDINANCE x351, VROVIDING FOR ?66,000 IUATER WORKS IMPROVEIt r�NTS BONDat-THIRD READING: Ordinance No. 351, providing for the issuance of X366,,,000 of Special 'later Kevenue.Bonds was read for the third time, and on motion by O'Herin duly seconded by Hayes that said Ordinance be passed and adopted as read, the 11ayor directed a Holl Call.
