Co. having objected to the C-ause c:hich provided for the maint--inance of t'zeir Steam Plant and the same to be used by the C_ty in case of emei•L;ency, the I:Iayor suggested, as an alternative, for the Council to look into the matter of providing different power for one of the pumping Louts, which would enable the constant operation of the - —iips, upon which the City's cjater� supply depends.
