HomeMy WebLinkAbout09-26-1924 Minutesugu '26th, 1924. The council met in adjourned session with Mayor Gannon presiding. The following answerdd roll -call: Jewell,.Nelson, O'Herin, and Goodell. Application of Geo. .Austin for a pool hall and soft drink establishment license read. Jewell seconded b-- l`elson moved that a license be granted. 'Upon roll call all com.ncilmen voted Yes. O'Herin seconded by Nelson moved that the proposed garage ordinance be laid. over until the next meetin. `'arried. Bryan enters councilroom. Committee on furnishing water for Mr. Russell in O'Keefe's uecodn ]Dddition report condition as outlinee at previous meeting and that nothing can be done unless council authorize relaying of pipe to furnish water to thit district. O'Herin seconded by Nelson noved that water committee be instructed to consider advisiblity of reconstructing of pipe lines from 8th street to Sylvester street anc report at next meeting. Carried. Committee on application oIg Mr. Crosby and -Ur. -Durham to construct a natatorium in the City Park report favorably abd recommend permission 3Be granted providing proper. Goodell seconded by Merin moved that the City attorney is about lease and see if any restriction and if so get neeessary waiver. �-;arried. O'Herin seconded by Goodell moved that heads of all departmens be instructed to make effort to have all bills outstanding certified to a.d presented at first mee meeting in Zieptember. Carried. O'Herin seconde by Goodell moved that thr meeting adjourn. Carried. Passed for approval this day of Sept. 1924.
