The following answered roll call: Bryan; Goodell, Nelso",-* O'Herin; Pyles,; Robbins. The minutes of Juane 3rd and 10th were read and there being no obdecetions the Mayor declared thema approved as read*^ Bill of R. M. Murray for $403.87 on enginnering read. Goodell seconded by Pyles moved that the bill be allowed and warrant drawn for same Upon roll call all councilmen voted YES. Robbins seconded by Godd6ll moved that bills of the Pasco Machine Co be held over until the next regular meeting. Upon roll call Bryan; Goodell-$, Nelson, Pyles and Robbins moved Yes O'Herin voted No. Letter from :;. B. Hor-rigan as attorney for Franklin County Irrigation Distric No. 1 in reggrd to payment of warrants issued for 1923 maintenenace read. Robbins seconded by Nelson moved that the C�I- Treasurer call in warrant No. 14'7 on � L. I. D. #43 for payment amounting to `vsl'l41.60 for purpose of being split and issuing new warrants in lieu in smaller amounts. Uapon roll call all councilmen voted Y,,s. O'Herin seconded by Robbins moved that a license be granted. Carried. Epplication of firs. H. A. Yamauchi to operate a hotel read. O'Herin seconded by Goodell moved,that tkma license be granted. Carried. Application of Rosie Phillips to operate the Tacoma Hotel read. Robbins moved that a license be granted. Motion lost for want of second. Pyles seconded by Nelson moved rhat the application be referred to the police and license committee for invel,tiagtion. Carried. Afiplicttion of Sen, Doi to operate a hotel was read. Pyles seconded by Nelson moved that a license be granted. Carried. Application of I'1. R. Thompson to operate a hotel read. 01H erin seconded by Goodell moved that a license be grabted. Carried. Appliaction of Mrs. K. Idaruyama to operate a hotel was read. Goodell seconded by Pyles moved that a license be granted. Carried. Water committee recommends that G. G. Candee be removed as, water manager. O'Herin seconded by Pyles moved that the report be accepted:. Carried. , Robbins seconded by nelson moved that the American Legion be given the right to establish various kinds of stands for July 4th and that the council go on record as favoring movement of the celebration. Carried. Idro-retz. _ O'Herin seconded by Robbins moved that the nominations be closed. Carried. O'Herin seconded by Pyles moved that the clerk cast a unanimous ballot for Mr. Moretz. Carried. O'Herin seconded by Nelson moved that we that the old water tank be repaired and put in shape. Carried. Robbons seconaled by Pyles moved that the meeting adjourn. Carried.
