The Cpuncil met in regular session with Mayor Gannon presiding.
The 'following answered roll call:Bryan:; 'Goodlel'; 'Jewcll;' O'Herin,' Pyles,; Robbins.
The minutes of March 4th and 8th were re -ad and there being no objections. the mayor
declared them approved as read.
Letter from Tourist Park Committee of Pasco Chamber of Commerce in regard to certain .
improvements they wish to make at the ,Tourist Park were read. The improvemnets
had been approved by the park Vo ard.
Bryan seconded by PJ;les moved that the Council go on record approving plan as outlined
and approved by the park board*
Carried.
Letter ±rom C7gicago Bridge and Iron Works enclosing bond for work was read.
Letter from Library Board in regard to all of their appropriation for 1922 not used was
read.
Pyles seeonddd by O'Herin moved that Mr. D. Shelby be allowed to build runway for his
service station at Fourth and Clark Sheets He to lay pipe to allow flow of water snd
not to exceed two feet out on pavement. Work to be none under supervision of the Street
Commissioner and permission be further granted to allow him to cross sidewalks at runway
to his service station.
Carried.
Goodell spoke in regard to fire hydrants to be placed in his district.
Goodell seconded by O'Herin moved that the City Attorney draw up an ordinance granting
the water manager power to make purchases for water dppartment in amounts not to exceed
$50.00 per purchase.
Carried.
OIHd2in seconded by Goodell moved that the water manager be instructed to install three
fire hydrants as requested by Mr. Goodela; Location to be deteemined by Fire Department
Chief.
Carried.
OxHerin'reported that charge of Mr. I7illison on wtaer used at City barn was all right.
Light and wtaer committee reported that they have had no definite action on cluster lights.
Mrs. Puryear asked the council for additional help to get out water bills®
O'Herin,seeonded by Newell moved that the City Treasurer be allowed to emtloy assisstance
for purpose of making out and mailing statements ani. other work inc connection with the
work of -her office as clekk of wtter department; expenditure not to exceed $25.00.
Upon roll call all councilmen voted YES.
Engineei Murray spoke in regard to pump house site.
0=Herin seconded by Goodell moved that the matter be refdrred to the City Attorney for
investigation find he tape whatever steps necessary to get title to the land.
Car ried.
O'Herin'seconded by Pyles moved tha the Cit; Treasurer be instructed to,prepare assessment
cols for the irrigation districts and same to be preparedby the next regular meeting.
Car ried.
0=Herin seconded by Goodell moved that the meeting adjourn.
Carried.
